Pixel Whip

A 2D demake of a classic VR rhythm shooter Pistol Whip by Cloudhead Games. If Pistol Whip is the ultimate John Wick simulator, then Pixel Whip is a simulator of someone pretending to be John Wick.

Controls

Use the WSAD keys to move your head in order to dodge enemy projectiles.

Use mouse to aim and shoot, or pistol whip enemies that get close enough.

Gameplay

Shooting on beat will give you double the points, so time your shots carefully. Watch as the world pulses to the beat.

Reload your gun by pointing it up or down. Pistol Whipping an enemy will also give you a free reload, as well as repair your armor to full.

Note that the "Bulletproof" modifier is enabled by default, so you are in no danger of dying. But getting hit still reduces your score modifier! Without this modifier, you can survive only one shot, but your armor is repaired after hitting six enemies or killing one with melee.

Most enemies take a single shot to take down, but there are a few tougher ones that need two or even four shots.

There are four different weapons to choose from and a lot of modifiers to make gameplay easier or more challenging. 

Modifiers

Explore the modifier menu to change the gameplay to your liking. You can make things easier by enabling laser sight, removing obstacles in your path, deflecting shots with your gun or turning on good old big head mode.

Or you can make things more challenging by doubling the health of all enemies, making them shoot constantly, giving yourself score penalty for missed shots and more.

• Local persistent leaderboards for modifier combinations
• Dancing and flying animations for certain enemies
• Improved environment on the one map
• Additional maps
• One last weapon missing from the original (Metal Mincer)
• Three more modifiers (Glitch, Graze, Color Match)
• Automatic camera zoom
• Some cool shader effects
• Ability to import custom made maps made for Pistol Whip to play here

I might get around to adding at least some of these later, after taking a break from this, but no promises.
